Superintendent Breakwater

Overview

Are you ready for a challenging leadership role on a large-scale breakwater project? We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee the reconstruction of a breakwater in Northwest France. This is a hands-on role, requiring expertise in rockworks, team-management, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations on-site
• Oversee project execution, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards
• Coordinate closely with engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to keep the project on track
• Monitor progress, troubleshoot challenges, and implement efficient solutions
• Maintain client satisfaction by ensuring project deliverables are met on time and within scope

Requirements

• Proven experience in breakwater construction and rockworks
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a high-paced environment
• Fluent in Dutch & English (French proficiency is a plus)
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule in France
• Because the job covers multiple locations, an EU citizenship is required.
