Student Requirements

• A major in accounting.
• Considering taking on the 150 hours program in order to sit for your CPA.
• Consider working with a CPA firm in Central New York upon graduation.

Summer interns are responsible for general accounting and audit knowledge and will have interaction with firm professionals, administrative staff and clients. Summer interns will be responsible for preparing work papers and financial statements, internal controls testing, analytical reviews and verbal and written correspondence. A summer intern will have the responsibilities and training of a new fulltime staff member. Summer internships typically begin mid-June and end in late August.
