SU Development Engineer (F/M)

Job Summary

We are looking for a SU Development Engineer (F/M). The Engineer will conduct research and development activities, applying research theories, principles, and models to experiments and research activities. The role involves summarizing research results and communicating findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support product development through in-depth knowledge of performance requirements, product design criteria, functionality, customer needs, usability, reliability, marketability, and manufacturability.
• Ensure quality in product design for usability, reliability, functionality, marketability, and manufacturability.
• Support verification and validation of new product designs.
• Apply design‑to‑cost and design‑for‑manufacturability methods to aid project leaders in achieving project objectives.
• Collaborate within development teams, completing assigned tasks in a timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner.
• Document intellectual property strategy by recording data, independent, unique, and patentable ideas resulting from experimentation and concept generation.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and environmentally‑friendly workplace by observing company procedures, regulations, and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in Engineering or Science; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in product design and development with a solid understanding of the product lifecycle.
• Ability to identify, break down, and solve a variety of challenging technical problems.
• Strong aptitude for hands‑on engineering testing and experimentation in a lab/shop environment.
• Disciplined and well‑organized in documentation (plans, requirements, drawings, design reviews, and test methods).
• Experience working with ISO requirements and other relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and analysis.
• Team player with good communication skills.
