Structured Trade & Export Finance Intern

Position Overview: We are looking for an intern for 6 months starting 1 July 2026.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in its general origination activities as well as with the execution and management of export credit transactions.
- Preparation of presentations for client meetings and post meeting call reports, preparation of commercial offers, including mandate letters, terms sheets, pitch books and information memorandums.
- Ensure completion of all preliminary transaction procedures including credit, KYC, environmental & social, anti-financial crime, reputational risk due diligence, calculation of transaction profitability metrics (KPIs) and preparation of credit memos.
- Support in the legal documentation negotiation process by liaising with external legal counsel and syndicate banking partners as well as ensuring proper information sharing and handover with middle & back-office teams and other support functions.
- Coordinating with the Middle Office teams for the management of the portfolio in relation to loan utilizations, overseeing borrower compliance with reporting & financial covenants and internal reporting.
Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in France with a valid convention de stage.
- Fluent verbal and written communication capabilities in French and English is mandatory. Spanish is a plus.
- Self-starting, autonomous and willing to take initiatives.
- Good team spirit, analysis and synthesis capacities and rigor.
- Strong interest and knowledge in financial product and industry.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Previous internship(s) in Structured Finance, corporate banking products group or corporate coverage is a plus.
