Structure Design Engineer Close to Aircraft Product (m/f)

Job Description

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Structure Design Engineer (f/m) to join the MAP Engineering team in Toulouse, France. The role focuses on providing engineering solutions to airframe issues throughout the flow, from final assembly line to delivery to airlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering solutions to airframe issues from final assembly to customer line.
• Define aircraft adaptations for flight test and improve design for manufacturing.
• Contribute to structural design activities within the MAP Fuselage team.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical skills: solid background in airframe structure design analysis, processes and methods for metallic and composite structures (preferably ATA 52‑doors, 53‑fuselage, 55‑stabilizers, 571‑wing root joint and related interfaces).
• Experience required: design office or MAP experience, enabling a quick path to delegated design signatures.
• Languages: French mandatory; fluent technical English mandatory.
• Personal attributes: team player, adaptable, action‑oriented.
