Structural Engineer – SkyCiv Pty Ltd.

Job type: Full Time, 38 hours/weekSalary range: AUD 120,535 – 130,000

Purpose: To test, verify, improve and assist the development of SkyCiv structural analysis and design software, under the core product values of SkyCiv.

Main Goals: Verification of software; assisting in structural engineering advice; using structural design experience to assist users through customer support.

Reporting to: Development Team, CEO, CTO.

Responsibilities

Technical Support & Customer Assistance

• Provide expert guidance to users on structural analysis and design using SkyCiv software.
• Assist clients in troubleshooting technical issues and optimizing their workflow.
• Educate users on best practices and industry standards for structural engineering.
• Provide assistance to the development team for general structural engineering questions.

Software Testing & Quality Assurance

• Conduct rigorous testing of SkyCiv software to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Identify and report bugs, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the development team to enhance software performance.

Product Development & Innovation

• Contribute engineering expertise to the development of new features and tools.
• Provide insights into industry trends and customer needs to drive innovation.
• Validate software calculations and ensure compliance with global engineering codes.

Content Creation & Knowledge Sharing

• Develop educational materials, tutorials, and documentation for users.
• Write technical articles and case studies to showcase the software’s capabilities.
• Conduct webinars and training sessions to engage and educate clients.

Client Engagement & Business Growth

• Support sales and marketing teams by demonstrating software capabilities to potential clients.
• Gather feedback from users to improve the product and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Assist in developing tailored solutions for enterprise clients and large-scale projects.

Other Requirements

• Bachelor or higher in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Close attention to detail and duty of care.
• Ability to work autonomously.
