The Role
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Structural Justification Engineer to join an aerospace engineering team, supporting aircraft modification and structural repair programmes across civil and military aviation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage structural justification dossiers , including analysis, calculations and testing.
- Carry out and review static, fatigue & damage tolerance (FDT), dynamic and FEM calculations .
- Support structural design and repair solutions.
- Coordinate internal and subcontracted engineering activities.
- Provide technical support to aircraft manufacturers, authorities and customers .
- Review and validate technical documentation.
- Mentor and support other engineers.
Requirements
- 10+ years' aerospace structural analysis experience , including 5+ years with an aircraft manufacturer/OEM .
- Engineering degree at Master's level or equivalent .
- Strong experience with FEMAP, NASTRAN, NASGROW and CATIA .
- Knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures and structural repairs.
- Understanding of CS/JAR/FAR 23, 25, 27 and 29 .
- Strong knowledge of static and FDT analysis.
- Fluent French and professional English .
- Experience with aircraft loads, mass and centre of gravity is advantageous.
