At IPSEN we are advancing neuromodulator therapies in migraine, movement disorders and cervical dystonia, strengthening our internal pipeline with assets such as IPN10200 (Phase2) and Dysport. This global role shapes the commercial strategy across early‑stage Neuroscience assets and drives future portfolio impact.
Main Responsibilities & Technical Competencies
Internal Pipeline
Lead early commercial planning for IPN10200: indication prioritization, portfolio strategy, lifecycle management and business case development. Facilitate analysis for commercialization and continued development, support cross‑functional and country teams for pre‑launch activities, and guide the transition to a dedicated global brand team. Key deliverables include brand strategy and launch plan, launch readiness reviews, campaign and core messaging, global launch sequence, and lifecycle indication prioritization.
Strategy & Innovation
Collaborate with the Neuroscience Therapeutic Area Lead and partners across R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Pricing & Access, Forecasting, and country teams to execute the strategic planning process for the franchise. Conduct landscape assessments, benchmarking, patient journey and segmentation work, and market evolution analyses. Produce insight‑driven strategic narratives and materials (slides, briefs, recommendation papers) to support governance and decision‑making. Integrate early commercial insights into long‑term Neuroscience strategy, portfolio prioritisation and long‑range planning.
Business Development
Provide commercial lead for Neuroscience Tx in business‑development evaluations. Conduct focused commercial assessments (market sizing, competitive landscape, treatment dynamics, value drivers) to inform screening, triage, and due‑diligence of BD‑initiated opportunities. Deliver clear recommendations to governance bodies and cross‑functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment with internal strategy and execution efficiency.
Knowledge & Experience (Essential)
Significant experience in early commercial roles at a global pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical company, or strategy consulting in life sciences, with proven knowledge of commercialization, launch planning, LCM, and business development. Ability to work cross‑functionally, strong scientific and commercial acumen, exceptional strategic thinking, urgency, strategic marketing expertise (positioning, targeting, segmentation, lifecycle management), business acumen, analytical skills, competitive landscaping, qualitative and quantitative market research, planning, project management, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for business case modeling.
Education & Certifications (Essential)
Advanced degree in Life Sciences or an MBA.
Language(s) (Essential)
Fluency in spoken and written English. Knowledge of additional languages such as French is helpful.
