Strategy Consultant & Data Scientist - Internship

In the context of our fast-paced development we are looking for talented Interns to join our team in Paris.

YOUR ROLE

This position offers a dual-track as Data Scientist and Strategy Consultant. You will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects:

• Strategy projects (e.g. strategic due diligence, market opportunity, full potential strategic plan, etc.) that can be linked to Data & AI topics
• Data & AI Strategy projects (e.g. data roadmap connected to business strategy, responsible AI governance)
• Data Use Cases delivery projects (industrialized products) that often include data science modeling, machine learning and advanced data processing and visualizations
• Advanced data analytics projects (e.g. in-depth analysis of complex data such as order book data on energy markets)

After an onboarding period and under the guidance of partners and experienced consultants, you will join a project team and contribute to solving our clients' toughest problems.

Roles & responsibilities

• Conduct interviews and market analysis
• Analyze facts and translate them into meaningful insights and recommendations
• Identify, scope, and prioritize use cases
• Collect and process data using scraping technologies
• Prepare structured and non-structured data
• Find the adequate model to solve the problem
• Implement machine learning algorithms and relevant optimizations
• Find insights and communicate them
• Program code at best standards to ensure proper industrialization
• Create meaningful and useful data products and visualizations

Who we are looking for

• MSc in the field of General Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics, Mathematics
• Programming experience in Python, SQL
• Strong interest in finding data science solutions to business problems
• Sharp problem-solving capabilities, business acumen
• Some experience in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• Knowledge of the data tech ecosystem is a plus: NoSQL, Container technologies (Docker), cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), Gitlab
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; in particular, flawless command of oral and written English and French
