Job Summary

As the Strategic Relationships Manager, you will drive strategic growth and deep publisher relationships within FreeWheel’s Publisher Advertising platform, in particular the Streaming Hub business. You will bring a sophisticated understanding of the CTV and streaming landscape and a passion for helping supply‑side clients maximize the value of their inventory and revenue. You will work directly with key broadcasters and CTV partners to develop and execute advertising strategies tailored to their unique business needs, leveraging FreeWheel’s ad tech platforms and marketplace capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial relationships with Streaming Hub accounts.
  • Lead sales, upsell, renewal, and new product pitches.
  • Handle the commercial aspects of clients’ relationships.
  • Grow strategic relationships across FreeWheel teams and the Comcast group to identify and qualify new opportunities for FreeWheel SaaS businesses.
  • Understand each customer’s business and compile RFI data to accelerate new business approaches.
  • Identify cross‑sell opportunities and position FreeWheel as a key partner.
  • Coordinate and prioritize resources against leads, teams, and entities supporting new business approaches.
  • Support new business leads and move opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Engage and communicate with internal partners, including Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Work closely with Streaming Hub Account Managers, Programmatic Account Managers, and Solution Engineers to present a fully integrated customer experience.

Required Skills and Experience

  • More than 5 years of experience in the TV industry and/or digital video in a client‑facing capacity.
  • Commercially oriented personality with demonstrated ability to grow customer accounts.
  • Leadership skills necessary to work with large and complex customers, acting as the primary point of contact for all revenue and strategic initiatives.
  • Fast‑learner and committed to becoming an expert in FreeWheel’s business and in customers’ markets.
  • Self‑starter, creative in creating and closing opportunities, and finding solutions to issues.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree (minimum). Candidates with equivalent coursework and experience may also be considered.

Certifications (if applicable)

None required.

Relevant Work Experience

7-10 years in relevant roles.
