Strategic Projects Manager

Our Strategy & Development team supports all regions and BUs to accelerate the transformation of our company from a leading hardware provider to a global data‑centric hardware and software transformation partner. The team has a high impact on retailer’s financials, NPS and ESG performances. Topics include strategic roadmap & initiatives, M&A, development of C‑Level relationships, strategic partnerships, go‑to‑market for new product and innovations, thought leadership and innovation pipeline management.
As a Strategic Projects Manager, you will lead key projects in Vusion’s transformation roadmap and contribute to our Vusion Intelligence (value‑added services) roadmap and development. Reporting to the Manager of Strategy & Development and working closely with C‑level leadership, you will be at the heart of Vusion’s strategic agenda.
For each project, you will collaborate closely with key people in regions, business units and functions to develop partnerships, new use cases and build strategic analyses, reports or communications that fit operational and commercial needs. You will operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels across business, partnerships, sales, finance, R&D, product teams and multiple geographical regions.
- Support specific market or company analysis linked with innovation pipeline, partnership roadmap and thought leadership.
- During M&A processes, contribute to strategic and commercial due diligence.
- Conduct screening of potential M&A targets and monitor specific priority market segments.
Strategic Partnership Management
- Support rollout of strategic partnership: coordinate joint client projects, scope and identify relevant use cases and roadmap, work closely with local and global Vusion teams to deliver with success.
- Identify and coordinate new strategic partnerships to strengthen Vusion Intelligence market presence and product roadmap.
Vusion Strategy & Growth
- Support governance and steering of Vusion’s VAS business lines growth: monitor and track progress against organizational goals.
- Lead specific cross‑functional initiatives when required.
Thought Leadership
- Collaborate with partners and the Marketing & Communication team to formalize white papers and reports that feed thought leadership and increase visibility and reputation of Vusion.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Business or Engineering.
- Proven successful experience of 2-4 years, including in a top‑tier strategy consulting firm.
- Strong collaborative, influencing and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, able to deal effectively across all levels of management (incl. C‑level).
- Comfortable working with cross‑functional teams (finance, R&D, product, data, sales, legal).
- Outstanding analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate a multi‑cultural environment and be fully at ease in an Anglo‑Saxon environment (written and oral).
- Good knowledge of the retail and consumer goods industry.
- Curiosity about technology and enthusiasm for learning more and working in a tech environment.
