Overview
Estée Lauder EUEM Strategy team is seeking a highly motivated Strategic Pricing Intern to support our pricing strategy development across the region. Operating at the intersection of Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Analytics, our team plays a key role in driving brand equity and profitability for all Estée Lauder brands in the EUEM region. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in pricing strategy, work closely with regional and global teams, and develop valuable skills in competitive analysis, pricing processes, and data‑driven decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the FY27 & FY28 pricing cycle across all brands and markets in EUEM (Europe & Emerging Markets), assisting in the identification of pricing opportunities for existing products, new launches, and new market entries.
- Conduct competitive pricing analyses and ad-hoc research to inform top management pricing decisions.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (regional brands and affiliate teams) to ensure smooth execution of pricing processes and timely delivery of milestones.
- Respond to internal and external pricing queries, ensuring other functions receive accurate and timely data.
- Collaborate with the Global Strategic Pricing Team based in NYC to align regional and global pricing strategies.
- Assist in onboarding new brands and markets into the pricing framework and processes.
- Develop expertise in cloud-based pricing platforms such as Tableau and Anaplan to enhance reporting and data visualization.
- Leverage analytics tools to support training sessions for brand and market teams.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or final‑year student) in Finance, Engineering, Management, or a quantitative field.
- Preferred candidates from other disciplines (e.g., social sciences, behavioral sciences, design, or other analytical or creative backgrounds) bringing strong quantitative rigor and fresh perspectives to strategic problem‑solving.
- Strong ability to manage complex processes and multiple deadlines, with flexibility to reprioritize tasks as needed.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering results.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with exposure to multiple markets and product categories.
- Interest in the beauty industry is a plus.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
