Strategic Partnerships (Metallurgy)
We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team in France, specifically focused on the Heavy Industry sector, and especially the companies related to the Metallurgy Collective Agreement (1.6 M employees in France). The core purpose of this role is to open doors to Sales by strengthening Alan's reputation and awareness amongst HRDs and business owners in the manufacturing sector, and generating business opportunities through targeted field initiatives, after having negotiated partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Become an expert in the heavy industry market : Deep dive into the metallurgy sector to build actionable insights, understand specific challenges (price pressure, tough labor conditions, high turnover, rural locations, workforce aging, skills shortage), and upskill the sales team on market specificities.
- Develop verticalized sales materials : Work with Business Solutions and Product Marketing teams to create adapted pitch decks, objection-handling guides, and sales assets tailored to the formal, traditional business culture of the sector.
- Strengthen partnerships with industry associations : Build on existing relationships with UIMMs and expand to additional regional associations and to national level.
- Generate qualified business opportunities : Create qualified lead pipeline through field marketing initiatives, targeting key geographic clusters and the unified CCN.
- Raise Alan's brand presence in the heavy industry ecosystem : Organize or sponsor targeted events, develop content strategy, and position Alan as a recognized specialist in metallurgy HR challenges.
- Establish thought leadership : Position Alan within the metallurgy community through strategic collaborations, speaking engagements, and content highlighting our understanding of sector-specific challenges.
Is it you we’re looking for?
We’re looking for someone who combines marketing expertise with strategic networking and stakeholder management abilities, has a genuine interest in the French manufacturing sector, and can autonomously drive brand awareness and lead generation in traditional B2B environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong fundamentals in field marketing and proven experience building relationships with regional business associations. They should be excited about pioneering Alan's presence in the heavy industry sector and converting brand visibility into tangible business opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
- 5+ years experience in partnerships roles, field marketing, event marketing, or sales development in B2B industrial sectors
- Full working proficiency in French
- At least advanced level in English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience creating and executing localized marketing campaigns in regional markets
- Strong ability to plan, execute, and measure event impact and ROI
- Excellent networking and pitching skills with operational decision-makers and regional business leaders
- Comfortable with traditional, formal business environments
- Strong communication and content creation skills adapted to traditional industries
- Entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving environment
- Strong ownership and accountability in delivering measurable results
- Collaborative and able to influence cross-functional teams
