Strategic Partnerships – Role
We are looking for an experienced Partnerships Manager to join our team in France, focused on the Heavy Industry sector, particularly companies related to the Metallurgy Collective Agreement. The core purpose of this role is to open doors to Sales by strengthening Alan\'s reputation and awareness amongst HRDs and business owners in the manufacturing sector, and generating business opportunities through targeted field initiatives, after having negotiated partnerships. You will be the first Field Marketer dedicated to this on a full-time basis, shaping strategy and representing Alan in key manufacturing networks and associations.
Responsibilities
- Become an expert in the heavy industry market: Deep dive into the metallurgy sector to build actionable insights, understand challenges, and upskill the sales team on market specifics.
- Develop verticalized sales materials: Create pitch decks, guides, and assets tailored to the sector\'s traditional business culture.
- Strengthen partnerships with industry associations: Build on relationships with UIMMs and expand to regional and national levels.
- Generate qualified business opportunities: Create qualified lead pipeline through field marketing initiatives targeting key geographic clusters and the unified CCN.
- Raise Alan\'s brand presence in the heavy industry ecosystem: Organize or sponsor events, develop content strategy, position Alan as a metallurgy HR specialist.
- Establish thought leadership: Position Alan within the metallurgy community through collaborations, speaking engagements, and content on sector challenges.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in partnerships roles, field marketing, event marketing, or sales development in B2B industrial sectors
- Full working proficiency in French
- Advanced level in English (spoken and written)
- Proven experience creating and executing localized marketing campaigns in regional markets
- Strong ability to plan, execute, and measure event impact and ROI
- Excellent networking and pitching skills with decision-makers and regional business leaders
- Comfortable with traditional, formal business environments
- Strong communication and content creation skills for traditional industries
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment
- Strong ownership and accountability in delivering measurable results
- Collaborative and able to influence cross-functional teams
