Strategic Oil & Gas Procurement Lead

The PMO Procurement Lead is the technical reference (Subject MatterExpert) in O&G Material (PVV and STR) and responsible for managing andoverseeing procurement activities on:

• theProjects within the PMO perimeter ;
• routineContracts, when required by the affiliate.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring that all procurementprocesses align with the organization’s strategic objectives, projectrequirements, and compliance standards. The PMO Procurement Lead willcollaborate with project managers, stakeholders, suppliers, and otherdepartments to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely procurement ofgoods and services necessary for project execution.His/Her activities will be : On Medium/large scale Project (with a dedicatedProject Procurement lead):

• Support/coachthe Project team on the procurement methodology, follow up and reporting ;
• Ensureall procurement activities are conducted in accordance with companypolicies, industry regulations, and legal requirements ;
• Serveas the primary point of contact for procurement-related matters within thePMO ;
• Identifyopportunities for cost savings, supplier consolidation, and processimprovement ;
• Leadprocurement planning sessions with project teams to establish clearprocurement schedules and requirements.

On small scale Project / Routine Activities driven by the Affiliate:

• Executeall the procurement activities and expediting ;
• Manageprocurement budgets for projects, ensuring expenditures align withapproved budgets ;
• Provideregular updates to project managers, senior management, and otherstakeholders on procurement status, risks, and issues.

He/She will also :

• continuouslyevaluate and improve procurement processes, tools, and systems to increaseefficiency and effectiveness ;
• implementbest practices in procurement management and stay updated on industrytrends.

Education:Bachelor's degree in Engineering Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurementor a related field.Knowledge/Experience :Minimum 4 years of experience with procurement in Oil & Gas In deepknowledge of the piping and structural O&G materialFluent English and FrenchSoft skills :Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, andvendor management.Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and manage financial datarelated to procurement.Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.Proficient in procurement software and tools, as well as MS Office Suite.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tightdeadlines. #J-18808-Ljbffr
