We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic-minded individual to join our team as a Senior Merchandising Analyst for the RGM (Revenue Growth Management) team at Sephora Europe. As the Senior Merchandising Analyst, you will play a key role in defining and optimizing the Brand Allocation in stores for European countries, ensuring that we have the right brand in the right store for the right customer. Your analysis and insights will be instrumental in driving business growth.

You will excel and enjoy this position if you are ready to actively handle the following missions :

Strategy and Minis & More Optimization:

  • Productivity Analysis: Conduct in-depth productivity analyses to identify assortment optimization opportunities.
  • Space Allocation Recommendations: Develop strategic recommendations regarding space distribution by axis (product category), as well as the nature of products to be distributed
  • Product Life Cycle Management: Propose product distribution strategies based on market performance and trends.
  • Assortment Consolidation:
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to share the product list and ensure optimal seasonal supply.
  • Work with Finance for results consolidation.
  • Coordinate with the Market Studies department to analyze customer acquisition and repurchase.
  • Communicate product lists to countries to support the creation of planograms and toolboxes for stores.

Cross-functional Analyses and Strategic Support:

  • Top Management Reporting: Develop and implement clear and impactful reports for Top Management and other offer teams, related to the productivity of axes, brands, and products.
  • KPI Definition and Monitoring: Propose relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure their regular monitoring to optimize store performance.
  • Contribution to Space Allocation Strategy: Actively participate in the development of the overall Space Allocation strategy across all axes, providing informed analyses and recommendations.

Do not hesitate to apply if you have… or if you are …

  • You have a Master degree (business or engineering school or equivalent university Master 2)
  • 4-5-year experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role, preferably in a retail merchandising or RGM environment is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • A structured and problem-solving mindset.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and findings to stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
  • Fluent in English, French is a strong plus.
