As a market leading provider of utility‑scale, commercial and residential renewable energy solutions, they are recognised as a key driver of the energy transition supporting developers, IPPs, EPCs, utilities and investors through a global network of manufacturing facilities, R&D centres, and local service teams.

About the Role

The Key Account Manager will play a critical role within a global business unit, leading strategic customer engagement across France's utility‑scale renewable energy market. Acting as the primary commercial interface between the company and key stakeholders, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing long‑term relationships with major IPPs, developers, EPC contractors, utilities, and investors. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, identifying new project opportunities, and positioning the product line across large‑scale solar and BESS developments. Working closely with technical, product, project delivery, and senior leadership teams, the Key Account Manager will develop account strategies, support complex negotiations, coordinate bid activities, and ensure successful execution across the full project life cycle. A significant aspect of the position involves engaging with senior decision‑makers within organisations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, manage, and maintain organizational‑level customer relationships with existing strategic key accounts in France and other regions.
  • Conduct secondary development of customer relationships and expand new business opportunities with clients.
  • Manage the process of inverter and energy storage system utility projects and handle customer relations for large‑scale project implementation.
  • Develop customer management strategies for strategic key accounts and coordinate regional execution in France and surrounding areas.
  • Handle project inquiries, commercial quotations, contract negotiations, and follow‑up on project execution.
  • Participate in market activities, including exhibitions and forums, and assist in organizing other necessary customer‑related events.
  • Engage in occasional overseas business trips as required.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sales or project management.
  • 3 to 5 years of project‑related sales experience in the renewable energy industry; candidates with direct sales experience in inverters or large energy storage projects are preferred.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills; candidates with team management experience are preferred.
  • Experience working with clients in the European region, particularly in France.
  • French speaker with proficiency in English as a working language; fluency in other languages (e.g., German or Spanish) is a plus.
  • Highly self‑motivated with the ability to think independently and generate innovative ideas.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or related fields; study‑abroad experience is preferred.
  • Must be based in France.
