Rubrik's sales organisation is a unified group of elite cross‑functional professionals helping companies across every major industry, from financial services and healthcare to manufacturing and the public sector, achieve true resilience against cyber‑attacks, malicious insiders, and operational disruptions. As a Strategic Account Executive in France, you will own some of the most consequential relationships in Rubrik's European business: a carefully defined portfolio of France's largest and most complex organisations, where your work shapes long‑term partnerships built on data security, resilience, and trust.
What You’ll Do
- Own the complete strategic account lifecycle for a focused portfolio of France's largest enterprises, from account planning through C‑suite engagement, commercial structuring, and close
- Develop trusted, executive‑level relationships within your accounts that go beyond the transactional, anchoring your engagement in the board‑level priorities that make data security a strategic imperative
- Build and execute account plans that grow Rubrik's footprint across business units, geographies, and use cases, turning initial wins into lasting, expanding partnerships
- Lead sophisticated, multistakeholder sales processes with rigour, applying MEDDPICC to qualify, accelerate, and close complex, high‑value deals
- Partner closely with Solutions Engineers, Channel Development, and Rubrik's partner ecosystem to design solutions addressing the full scope of each account's risk landscape
- Translate Rubrik's technical capabilities into business outcomes that resonate at the C‑suite level, connecting data protection to operational continuity and regulatory resilience
- Feed strategic market intelligence back to Rubrik's European leadership, including competitive dynamics, account trends, and opportunities that shape our go‑to‑market for France's largest organisations
Experience You’ll Need
- 5+ years of enterprise technology sales experience with direct accountability for strategic or named accounts at France's largest organisations (CAC 40 / SBF 120 or equivalent)
- Proven track record of building and expanding complex, multistakeholder relationships within France's top‑tier enterprises, growing accounts over time rather than closing single transactions
- Fluent in French and English; you engage at the C‑suite level in both languages with credibility and executive presence
- Deep fluency in the French enterprise landscape, including key industries, buying patterns, and decision‑making structures at the level of France's most complex organisations
- Hands‑on experience with MEDDPICC as a qualification and execution framework across long, high‑stakes sales cycles
- Strong commercial acumen with experience navigating complex, multiyear deals at significant value
- Self‑directed and comfortable operating with autonomy in a high‑growth, fast‑moving environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in cybersecurity, data protection, backup/recovery, or adjacent infrastructure categories
- Existing executive relationships within France's CAC 40 or SBF 120 accounts
- Experience building pipeline momentum with channel partners, distributors, and VARs in the French market
- Familiarity with Salesforce for account planning, pipeline management, and forecast accuracy
