Key Results/Accountabilities Expected From the Role

Your main responsibility will be on the following missions:

Short Term Rental

  • Maintain, develop and nurture key relationships with the 5 Major Daily Rental accounts (Avis, Europcar, Enterprise, Sixt, and Hertz), as well as potential new partners.
  • Support local market operations in managing rental business operations, including negotiations, contract management, fleet planning, special marketing campaigns (e.g. co-marketing event).
  • Oversee and validate major daily rental deals smoothly through key internal functions to ensure alignment with MG Motor's overarching strategy concerning volume, profit, and residual value impact.
  • Build and manage detailed comprehensive rental business reports to effectively monitor operations and support decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Remarketing Manager to ensure each deal's profitability by forecasting buy-back resale values.
  • Play a pivotal role in developing business plans and forecasts to guide strategic decision-making.

Remarketing

  • Develop and implement used cars strategies and processes to maximize revenue.
  • Control and optimize stock levels to ensure balanced inventory turnover and profitability.
  • Monitor and adjust pricing based on market trends to maximize vehicle residual values.
  • Develop a "Used Cars" label and local marketing strategies to increase customer engagement.
  • Oversee the Remarketing Manager to ensure effective resale strategies and alignment with business goals.

Experience & Educational Background & Expertise

  • Degree from a Commercial School or equivalent
  • In-depth knowledge of the local automotive market with a minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles
  • Strong sales skills with an ability to understand diverse customer perspectives
  • Proficient in negotiation techniques and strategies
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Skilled in using basic computer applications, particularly MS Office
  • Excellent administrative follow-up capabilities
  • Native French and fluent in English with proficiency for business communication (all internal meetings will be organized in English as daily communication with head-office teams)
