Store Manager – Catania via Etnea, Italy

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the achievement of the store's financial performance (budget and target attainment).
  • Coordinate commercial and organizational activities within the store (promotions, events, new product launches, CRM campaigns).
  • Manage the store's profit and loss statement (inventory discrepancies, operating costs, personnel costs) and propose new strategies to optimize cost categories.
  • Analyze and drive KPIs related to customer behaviour (store traffic, average transaction value, units per transaction).
  • Manage the stockroom, maintaining optimal stock levels in accordance with product replenishment cycles and merchandising strategies.
  • Implement company procedures (regulations, safety procedures) and commercial policies (pricing, promotions, communication) established by central departments.
  • Supervise Sephora Specialists (Department Managers) on welcoming customers and engaging them on the sales floor.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and HR department to design customised internal career development programmes.
  • Create a climate where people are motivated to help the organisation achieve its objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within dynamic, multinational retail environments.
  • Knowledge of key commerce KPIs and confidence in budget management, analysis, and daily reporting.
  • Agility, dynamism, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and sizeable team, guiding them towards objectives and fostering a positive and collaborative team spirit.
