About the Company and the Role

Our client is a premium contemporary womenswear brand with a strong presence in the retail market. They are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Store Manager to lead one of their established street retail locations.

This position is suited to a hands‑on and commercially driven leader who thrives in a customer‑focused environment and is passionate about team development, operational excellence, and brand experience. The Store Manager will play a key role in driving sales performance, elevating the client journey, and supporting the continued growth of the business while leading a medium‑sized team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive and maximize store sales performance while ensuring exceptional customer service standards.
  2. Oversee all daily store operations, including budgeting, payroll, scheduling, and operational efficiency.
  3. Analyze business results and identify opportunities to improve performance and customer engagement.
  4. Lead by example on the sales floor and foster a dynamic, service‑oriented environment.
  5. Build strong client relationships and promote the brand’s values, sustainability commitment, and product knowledge.
  6. Lead, coach, and develop the retail team through continuous feedback and performance management.
  7. Ensure high standards of visual merchandising, store presentation, inventory accuracy, and operational compliance.
  8. Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and succession planning within the store.
  9. Maintain a positive and collaborative team culture aligned with company values.

Profile

  1. Fluent in English and French.
  2. Minimum of 4 years’ management experience within retail.
  3. Strong background in sales‑driven and operational retail environments.
  4. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Hands‑on, proactive, and customer‑focused mindset.
  6. Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
  7. Experience managing and developing medium‑sized teams in a fast‑paced environment.
  8. Commercially minded with the ability to identify business opportunities and drive performance.
