What you will do

Business development

  • Analyze the business, propose action plans to reach qualitative and quantitative objectives, improve results, and support key business strategies.
  • Partner with the Area Manager to maximize sales and margin goals and prepare periodical reporting on competitors, product, and potential opportunities.
  • Analyze sell‑through, liaise regularly with different divisions on product availability and market trends to maximize productivity.
  • Develop business strategies, set achievable goals and targets, and implement incentives to help boost sales.

Team Management

  • Set personalized objectives for every team member and conduct follow‑ups throughout the year to develop behavior, performance and capabilities.
  • Create and foster a dynamic environment, motivate employees to maximize team spirit, promote teamwork and maintain harmonious staff relations.
  • Ensure staff follows company guidelines, is held accountable for achieving set goals, and effectively manage all HR functions to support the team.
  • Attract, develop and lead a high‑performance team through effective training, coaching and motivational activities.
  • Motivate the team to drive results through training, accountability and celebrating successes.
  • Ensure in‑store follow‑up after trainings delivered on the brand, products, operations and soft skills.
  • Plan and conduct daily and weekly in‑store briefings to motivate the team, set objectives and show how to reach them.
  • Support the onboarding experience for new staff, ensuring they are groomed, inviting, professional, and knowledgeable on product and company information.

Client Management

  • Ensure superior customer service standards and deliver the Versace experience through constant follow‑up with the team.
  • Be a brand ambassador and build relationships with Versace clients, engaging in customer interactions.
  • Encourage team members to focus on the desired client experience and develop an expanding customer base by capitalizing on high‑profile clientele and sales.
  • Maintain an active social relationship with clients and community by understanding market needs and changes.
  • Monitor the team on managing their customer database, ensuring actions to maintain long‑term relationships and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Implement and manage the boutique’s community outreach program and support the organization of in‑store and promotional events, liaising with merchandising and PR teams.

Store Management and Operations

  • Ensure stock and backroom are effectively managed and operational duties are met (goods receiving, transferring, stock‑take, arrangement, reporting).
  • Achieve optimum shrinkage results by enforcing security measures and maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance with operational and company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure store presentation and visual merchandising standards are maintained according to company directives and participate in VM set‑up.
  • Demonstrate operational excellence in all store processes, including managing and balancing related budgetary expenses.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in retail management—luxury experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
  • Full understanding of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising and store operations.
  • Computer skills, including operation of retail point‑of‑sale system, Word, Excel and email.
  • Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to maintain long‑term client relationships.
  • Strong team‑management skills with the potential to develop people personally and professionally.
  • Confidence, organizational skills, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive within a high‑paced environment, multitask with ease while maintaining daily responsibilities.
  • A positive and constructive approach, sales‑focused with the ability to take ownership.
