Stock Controller

Job Title: Stock ControllerReports to: Office ManagerDepot: LWC Aylesbury

Main Duties

The buyer is responsible for Ordering of all stock for the site ensuring sufficient stock levels to satisfy changing demands, trends and seasonality. Take ownership of the stock control function, making it your own and being responsible for the integrity of all stock on site.

Key Skills

• Placing daily orders with suppliers across all categories based on forecasted usage.
• Cover the ordering of all stock to satisfy customer demand, whilst keeping stock levels to company standards.
• Liaise with category buyers on current pricing.
• To manage and minimise obsolete stock.
• Manage sale or return stock to ensure all is returned in a timely manner.
• Control of stock on daily basis.
• Liaise with warehouse with stock enquiries.
• Goods in processing, Receipting of delivery notes into system.
• Ensure accuracy of checking delivery notes against po’s, Booking in of deliveries and raising any queries with suppliers in a timely manner.
• Investigate and provide data report on discrepancies losses and damages.
• To assist the operational team with controlling best before dates of all stock and minimising write offs.

• Previous Experience is beneficial but
