About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Stockist / Stock Controller to join our Paris boutique team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the stockroom and supporting the sales team through efficient inventory management, stock accuracy, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has previous experience in luxury retail, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and understands the importance of delivering an exceptional client experience through strong operational support.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Stock Management
- Receive, process, and organize all incoming deliveries.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and stock integrity at all times.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in periodic inventories.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs.
Store Operations
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient stockroom.
- Prepare and process stock transfers, returns, and inter-store movements.
- Ensure all merchandise is correctly tagged, priced, and stored according to company standards.
- Support product launches, deliveries, and seasonal floor changes.
Sales Floor Support
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure product availability.
- Locate and prepare merchandise quickly to support client appointments and sales opportunities.
- Assist during peak trading periods and special events.
- Contribute to a seamless client experience through operational excellence.
Compliance & Loss Prevention
- Follow company procedures related to inventory control and loss prevention.
- Ensure stock handling complies with company standards and security procedures.
- Support audits and compliance checks as required.
Profile
Required Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in a stock, inventory, or operations role within luxury retail, premium retail, or fashion.
- Experience working with inventory management systems and POS platforms.
- Strong understanding of stock control processes and retail operations.
Skills
- Highly organized and detail‑oriented.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
