STC Mechanical System Installation Designer (m/f)
Job Description
Location: Toulouse, France. We deliver Cabin and Cabin Systems upgrade solutions (SB*, ICA* and kits) certified through Airbus STC, to airlines and lessors for modification of their in-service aircrafts, through our dedicated team, processes, suppliers and means (dedicated Kit Factory).
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Mechanical System Installation Designer within STC Solutions Programme / Customer Services in Airbus based in Toulouse, France. Integrated in the STC Solutions Programme Cabin Systems & Airframe Engineering team, our designer works in close collaboration with Electrical System Installation and Wiring Diagrams Designers.

Your challenges
- Design and define mechanical solutions for interface equipment such as LRUs, VUs, cabin modules, or systems.
- Contribute to technical proposals, estimations, and aircraft pre‑mod analysis.
- Provide technical activity reports for technical and program reviews.
- Define mechanical brackets and their installation in 3D and 2D.
- Write relevant technical documentation (TRS, installation instructions, etc.).
- Manage the release of definition files (internal/outsourced) according to time, cost, and quality requirements, and deliver the associated kit.
Your boarding pass
- Background in aeronautics/aerospace.
- Proven track record with a highly sought‑after dual technical expertise, successfully operating in both airframe and mechanical systems domains.
- Operational proficiency in Catia V5, digital mock‑up (DMU) tools (Trend, Novo, 3D Juump), and Airbus configuration management tools (GILDA, Taksy, Pass A350).
- Proactive, agile, and customer‑oriented profile, recognised for strong synthesis skills, influential leadership, and an absolute commitment to safety (Speak‑up).
- Advanced / Negotiation level in English (both written and spoken).
