Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a commitment to serving a diverse student body by delivering a student‑centered education and using approaches that support equitable outcomes for all students.
- Provide excellent learning environments through in‑person, online, and/or hybrid course modalities.
Minimum Qualifications – Undergraduate
- A Master’s degree, or terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
- A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
- A Master’s degree, terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D, M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) or J.D. in a different discipline and at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework in the discipline they teach.
- A Master’s degree, terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D, M.F.A., D.N.P.) or J.D. with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline they teach.
- A Bachelor’s degree (e.g., B.A., B.S., B.S.N., B.F.A.) in the discipline and at least 18 semester hour credits of graduate coursework or equivalent professional certification in the discipline.
- A Bachelor’s degree in the discipline with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline, or 1 year of work experience and discipline‑specific certification.
Minimum Qualifications – Graduate
- A terminal degree (e.g., Ph.D., Ed.D., M.F.A., D.N.P., D.B.A.) in the discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
- A J.D. degree with expertise in the discipline, subfield, or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach.
- A Master’s degree in the discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach and at least 18 semester hour credits of terminal degree graduate coursework in the discipline.
- A Master’s degree in the discipline, subfield or related interdisciplinary field in which they teach with at least 2 years of work experience directly related to the discipline.
