Stage - Software Engineer - H/F
About the Role
We're looking for a motivated end-of-study intern (Bac+4/Bac+5, engineering school or university) to join our Engineering team for 6 months and contribute to real product challenges — not a side project, not internal tooling no one uses.
You’ll be embedded in a product squad, working alongside confirmed engineers, a Product Manager, and a Tech Lead who will mentor you throughout your internship. You’ll get hands‑on exposure to our Salesforce ecosystem and learn how a modern engineering team ships software at scale.
This internship is a genuine opportunity to grow fast and, if things go well, a potential path to a full‑time role.
Your Team
You’ll join a tech team of ~20 engineers organised into 4 product squads. Each squad owns a domain and ships continuously. We value:
- Clear ownership and accountability
- Pragmatic engineering decisions
- Strong feedback loops (code reviews, monitoring, retros)
- Continuous improvement in craft and delivery
What You’ll Do
- Learn and contribute to our Salesforce platform: data model, automation logic, and backend features with Apex
- Participate in the design and implementation of integrations between Salesforce and internal/external services
- Contribute to backend services (TypeScript/Node.js) with guidance from your squad
- Work with Product and Design to understand user needs and translate them into working software
- Write clean, tested code and take part in code reviews
- Explore AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate your learning and output
What We’re Looking For
Required
- Currently enrolled in a Bac+4 or Bac+5 programme (engineering school, university master's) — end‑of‑study internship preferred
- Solid programming fundamentals: you know how to write clean code, debug, and think through a problem
- Exposure to at least one backend language (Java, Python, C#, TypeScript, or similar)
- Genuine curiosity about how software systems work in production
- Good communication in French and English
Greatly Appreciated
- Any prior exposure to Salesforce or Apex (coursework, personal project, or previous internship)
- Experience with REST APIs and understanding of web service integration
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI/CD concepts
- Interest in the electric mobility / energy transition space
- TypeScript or Node.js experience
Our Tech Stack
- CRM & Operations: Salesforce (Apex, Flows, Process, Builder)
- Backend: TypeScript, Node.js, microservices
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, cloud‑native
- Frontend: Vue.js, React, Next.js
- Python, PHP, NoCode tooling
Why Join Us
- Mission‑driven work: Every line of code contributes to accelerating the EV transition across Europe
- Real ownership: Junior doesn't mean spectator — you’ll ship meaningful features quickly
- AI‑first culture: We embrace the best tools and expect everyone to keep learning
- Tight‑knit team: ~20 engineers who genuinely enjoy working together
- Paris centre office, hybrid setup
- Strong product ambition and a fast‑moving roadmap
- Tech watch, learning budget, and an environment that values curiosity
How We Hire
We keep our process lean and respectful of your time:
- Intro call with a recruiter (30 min)
- Technical interview with a tech lead — a mix of code and discussion (1h)
- Team fit conversation with the squad lead, CTO or CEO (45 min)
We aim to move fast. You’ll hear from us at every step.
ChargeGuru / Zeplug is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and experience levels.
