GE HealthCare seeks an intern or junior researcher to develop deep learning and image processing algorithms for mammography quality improvement. Work will focus on 3D reconstruction, inverse problems, and AI-driven enhancement of breast imaging at the Buc R&D facility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new algorithmic models using deep learning techniques
• Optimize image reconstruction and quality enhancement methods
• Compare and evaluate competing algorithmic approaches
• Create, validate, and maintain datasets for algorithm testing

Requirements

• Master's degree or final year of engineering school
• Expertise in machine learning, image processing, or mathematics
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Interest in medical imaging applications
• Analytical mindset and ability to work independently
• Fluent English communication skills
