Overview

Valeo is a global tech company focusing on the electrification of vehicles and e‑mobility. The role is a 4‑ to 6‑month technical internship at the Étaples‑sur‑Mer site, reporting to the Product Technical Leader in the development of electric machine belt, beltless or inverter projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PTL in coordinating R&D activities with product leaders and site departments.
• Manage prototypes: write request forms and monitor their production and validation.
• Plan and track product validation processes.
• Contribute to the drafting of internal and external technical reports and presentations.
• Participate in problem analysis and troubleshooting.
• Support industrialisation of the product.

Qualifications

• Student in the 4th or 5th year of engineering school, specialising in Electronics or Mechatronics (or related automotive sector).
• Technical curiosity, autonomy, and proactive attitude.
• Good command of English (B2 minimum).
• Proficiency in office tools (Google Workspace).
• Knowledge of automotive industry standard processes is a plus.

Contract

Duration: 4–6 months, target start 09/2026. Full‑time trainee (unpaid). Apprenticeship / VIE options are available.
