With more than 130 lawyers in France, the firm offers a first‑class range of services, which includes the essential practices of business law, both in Paris and internationally. Its presence in all developed and emerging countries enables it to assist its clients, whether they be large companies or governments, in their most strategic transactions or disputes.
YOUR PROFILE
We are accepting applications for internships in the Paris office for a duration of six months starting in July 2026 .
We welcome applications from outstanding students with an academic background in French law. English is the only language of which mastery is a pre‑requisite.
YOUR ROLE
An internship in Freshfields’ International Arbitration Group would expose you to a wide range of cross‑border work, including some of the most complex and interesting international disputes currently subject to arbitration.
With most of our current lawyers having started their careers as interns in our practice, the Freshfields internship is our preferred method of recruiting junior associates within our team.
To apply, please submit an updated résumé with your academic achievements including honours and a summary of grades, neither exceeding one page in length.
Non‑EU residents are required to have a valid work permit allowing them to work in France (long‑stay student visa and/or carte de séjour) for the length of their internship.
ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A FORMATIVE EXPERIENCE IN A DEMANDING INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT?
