Six-month internship at GE HealthCare's European headquarters in Buc, France, developing a prototype to automate and explain failure analysis of medical devices by processing technical logs from robustness testing through advanced diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Ingest, normalize and synchronize heterogeneous logs from multiple sources
• Reconstruct incident timelines and identify first abnormal or missing events
• Extract errors, states, commands, positions and communication or power anomalies
• Retrieve comparable historical cases and known diagnostic scenarios using RAG architecture
• Produce traceable diagnostic summaries with visible uncertainty for engineer review

Requirements

• Final-year engineering school or Master's degree student
• Strong Python programming skills
• Interest in advanced failure analysis and embedded systems
• Autonomy, rigor, and strong synthesis abilities
• Fluent English communication for international team collaboration
• System-level reasoning and problem-solving capability
