Contextual information
The Group Corporate Control department plays a key role in producing and analysing the Air France‑KLM Group Annual Sustainability Statement, in line with European reporting standards (CSRD/ESRS and EU Taxonomy).
To support this strategic activity, the ESG Reporting team is looking for a motivated ESG Reporting Intern starting in September. This 6‑to‑10‑month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in ESG reporting within a large international group and to apply academic knowledge to real‑world sustainability challenges.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the preparation of the Air France‑KLM Group Annual Sustainability Statement, in compliance with ESRS and EU Taxonomy requirements.
- Support updates and improvements to the Group ESG Reporting Manual.
- Participate in strengthening internal controls related to ESG reporting processes.
- Assist with day‑to‑day management of the ESG reporting tool.
- Analyze consolidated ESG data (sustainability reporting, ESG questionnaires, etc.) in connection with operational and financial performance indicators.
- Monitor ESG reporting regulatory developments at French, European and international levels and contribute to their refinement and implementation.
- Respond to ad‑hoc requests from stakeholders (governance, investors, external auditors, etc.).
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree in finance / corporate sustainability or equivalent.
- Strong interest in sustainability and ESG topics; a first experience in a Finance function will be appreciated.
- Rigorous, autonomous and analytical, with good interpersonal skills and intellectual curiosity.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a team environment.
- Proficient in Excel and interested in information systems.
- Fluent English and French (spoken and written) required.
- High level of confidentiality expected.
- Minimum education: Master degree (Bac +5) from top engineering French universities/schools.
- Language proficiency: French native, English bilingual.
