The Engineering team

Engineers work closely with Product, from exploration and roadmap prioritization to implementation, deployment and iteration in production.

The role
As a Staff Platform Engineer , you will shape and lead the company’s platform efforts.
You will be the first senior engineer fully focused on these topics, turning work currently spread across the team into a clear, reliable and high‑leverage platform that helps everyone ship faster and safer.
This is not a pure DevOps or support role. It is a hands‑on Staff Engineering role combining strong software engineering foundations, platform strategy, production reliability and cross‑team leadership.
What you will do
- Make production infrastructure more scalable, resilient and reliable
- Improve runtime reliability, capacity planning, failure modes and zero‑downtime readiness
- Build strong observability: metrics, logs, tracing, SLOs and actionable alerting
- Improve incident response and on‑call quality with low‑noise, useful monitoring
- Optimize architecture around reliability, performance and cloud costs
- Treat developer experience as a product: CI/CD, releases, environments, automation and golden paths
- Raise the security baseline: IAM, secrets, least privilege, hardening and security monitoring
- Define the platform roadmap and lead cross‑team initiatives end‑to‑end
- Bring structure, standards and mentorship so platform practices become shared across Engineering
