Staff Accountant

BRS CPAs & Advisors is hiring a full-time staff accountant! We are a small firm looking to add an energetic, motivated individual to our team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic to intermediate individual and business tax returns.
• Record transactions in ledgers, prepare trial balances and simple financial statements.
• Develop knowledge of the tax codes.
• Reconcile accounts to control accounts.
• Perform schedule computations of accruals, property & equipment and calculate depreciation expense.
• Prepare payroll for multiple clients.
• Prepare payroll taxes.
• Client and Firm marketing.
