Srategic Account Manager Construction F/H

At XPO Logistics, we deliver innovative transport and logistics solutions to some of the world’s most demanding supply chains. As we continue to grow our Construction business across Europe, we are looking for a Strategic Account Manager Construction Europe (F/H) to develop and expand a portfolio of strategic pan-European customers. Reporting to the Construction Sector Market Leader, you will build trusted partnerships with key customers in the construction industry while ensuring operational excellence across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic Construction accounts across Europe.
• Define and execute European Account Plans to drive sustainable and profitable growth.
• Build strong relationships with Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations, and Executive stakeholders.
• Lead pan-European commercial negotiations and coordinate international tenders.
• Ensure consistent commercial and operational execution across multiple countries.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver on customer commitments.
• Monitor account performance through financial and operational KPIs.
• Identify supply chain optimization opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in transport, logistics, supply chain, or the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing strategic international accounts.
• Experience working with customers in the construction, building materials, industrial manufacturing, or infrastructure sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical capabilities, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in an international environment.
• Fluent in English; an additional European language is a strong advantage.
