Sr. Sales Specialist - Collaboration Protection
About This Role
Our Advanced Technologies business unit is one of the highest growth units in the company. We protect our customers from risks associated with activity and behaviour, protect against data loss across endpoints, network, and Cloud accounts, and accelerate the time it takes for companies to respond to security incidents.
We are looking for a Senior Sales Specialist who will be the primary sales interface for customers and prospects in the EMEA region. Reporting to the EMEA Head of the Advanced Technologies unit, this role will work collectively with the Proofpoint sales teams and direct customer engagement to drive growth in our Advanced Technologies suite of solutions including Email Fraud Defence, Adaptive Email DLP, Secure Email Relay and other new products.
Responsibilities & Requirements
- Strategic Thinking: Provide a long‑term plan for the region’s growth that guides monthly and quarterly activities.
- Collaborative: Work with other company resources to implement the strategic plan through an effective sales engagement process.
- Financial Command: Provide accurate and ongoing financial forecasting that meets short‑term and long‑term growth goals.
- Customer Engagement: Work closely with customers to meet business and technical goals, achieve satisfaction, and generate demand, create pipeline, and acquire new customers.
- Culture fit: Support a culture of accountability and fun.
Qualifications
- Experience developing financial and addressable market plans, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
- Success with demand generation activities, customer meetings and presentations, and overall financial growth of the region.
- Effective channel engagement process driving scale and growth through indirect sales motions.
- Dynamic interpersonal skills supporting effective customer and prospect engagement, internal alignment, and success as an ambassador for the Information Protection business unit.
- Successful track record of growing the French and Italian enterprise market with leading technological and security solutions.
