Active in most of the Group’s businesses for over 50 years, the Corning European Technology Center, based in Fontainebleau-Avon, France, provides expertise in research, development, and engineering.
Within the Process Research, Development & Engineering organization at our Fontainebleau site, we are looking for a Measurement & Controls Engineer (M/F) for a permanent position.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
These projects are based both at the Corning European Technology Center (CETC) in Avon and at our AO Specialty Glass manufacturing plant in Bagneaux-sur-Loing. In the future, they may also be extended to other European sites.
PROFILE
We are looking for candidates with a general engineering degree specialising in automation and electrical engineering, combined with several years of industrial experience, ideally in instrumentation or special-purpose machine control systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Instrumentation of test benches and special-purpose machines for the acquisition of a wide range of physical measurements.
- Industrial automation and control systems, motion control, robotics, advanced process control, and servo systems.
- Engineering project management skills.
- Strong technical capabilities.
- Adaptable and willing to work across both sites.
