Sr. Director Marketing, France & Southern EMEA
Job Summary
Reporting into the VP of EMEA Marketing, the Senior Director of Marketing – France & Southern EMEA will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies across the region. The role acts as the CMO for these markets, driving brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth while leading a team and collaborating with sales and cross‑functional partners to align with global and regional objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies tailored to the France and SEUR region.
- Act as the trusted business partner to sales and channel executives, owning the holistic marketing plan for our segments.
- Conduct market analysis and collaborate with senior leadership to define regional marketing objectives and KPIs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing team of 5+ marketing professionals to inspire creativity and disruption.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages excellence in execution.
- Oversee the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels to effectively reach target audiences.
- Collaborate with the EMEA marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding while adapting strategies to regional nuances.
- Develop and manage the regional marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and monitoring performance against budget and KPIs.
- Work with sales, product, and other cross‑functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.
- Communicate regularly with regional stakeholders to understand market trends, competition, and customer needs.
- Ensure brand guidelines are consistently applied, working closely with the global brand team.
- Establish key metrics to measure the success of segment marketing initiatives.
- Analyze performance data, generate actionable insights, and make data‑driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Provide regular updates to senior sales leadership on segment marketing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience leading marketing organizations in a technology company, managing direct teams and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Proven track record of delivering marketing programs that increase pipeline and bookings, with strong understanding of funnel metrics.
- Experience with account‑based marketing (ABM) and brand programs targeting strategic accounts.
- Demonstrated success as a creative, disruptive leader who can navigate ambiguity and drive change.
- Strong business partnership experience with sales executives, providing strategic guidance and driving results.
- Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences, ensuring a diversity of voice is heard and enabled.
- Ability to set clear goals, drive team performance, and measure outcomes against business priorities.
- Budgeting and resource allocation skills, focusing on key priorities and maximizing ROI.
- Strong analytical mindset to interpret data, identify opportunities, and recommend improvements.
- Coaching and developing people, preparing them for future roles.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of the time.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
