SQL Database Administrator
Overview
SQL Database Administrator at CACI supporting a DoD organization (DoD), onsite in Fayetteville, NC. Role requires TS/SCI clearance, full-time, regular employee, with up to 10% travel within the Continental US. The opportunity focuses on managing and developing databases within a fluid, custom application development environment and supporting mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures.
- Expertise in SQL tuning and XML technologies.
- Strong understanding of database schema, data modeling, and architecture.
- Provide advice to the software development team and support application teams.
- Analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- 8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture.
- Proficiency in administering and deploying server equipment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD .
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree and three additional years of general experience in database administration, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server certifications desired.

Pay and Benefits
Salary range is $75,200-$158,100, with factors including location, contract wage rates, experience, skills, education, and certifications. The position may be filled in more than one location; the range shown is the national average for the position.
