Splunk Operations Specialist / Spécialiste Splunk (F/H)

Job Description

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Splunk Specialist (f/m) to join our Architecture and Strategic Technical Development team based in Elancourt (78), France.

You will be part of a team developing a very complex system landscape on Splunk. As part of a cross‑country international team, you will be involved in national build and run activities, including API‑based automation on the Kubernetes platform, aiming at strategic technical development and ensuring the security of the French perimeter.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Architects / Experts to further evolve our Splunk platforms.
• Introduce new log sources and integrate them into our system landscape.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure seamless support and integration.
• Ensure proper service levels of Splunk platforms.
• Act as the point of contact for customer / stakeholder requests.
• Collaborate with an international team for strategic technical development.
• Implement and manage API‑based automation on the Kubernetes platform for local build‑and‑run activities.

Qualifications

• Experience: University degree in IT or Business Information Systems, or extensive proven practical experience in system and network architectures.
• Technical expertise: Solid experience with Splunk technology and knowledge of API‑based automation and Kubernetes platforms.
• Soft skills: Flexible and open‑minded to change.
• Languages: Negotiation level of English and fluent level of French are mandatory.

Eligibility and Other Requirements

This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognised authorities. French nationality is mandatory due to management of Special France topics and owing to IGI 1300 from 9th August 2021.
