Splunk Operations Specialist (m/f)

Job Description

Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Splunk Operations Specialist (f/m/x) to join our Digital Department based in Elancourt (78), France. You will be part of an international and multidisciplinary team developing and evolving our highly complex Splunk system landscape. As part of this cross‑country agile team, you will be involved in strategic technical development and local build and run activities to ensure that our Splunk environments meet the highest service levels and technical standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Architects and Experts to design and further evolve our Splunk platforms and overall system architecture.
• Integrate and onboard new data/log sources into our system landscape, coordinating with suppliers to ensure seamless technical support.
• Manage the Splunk platforms to guarantee agreed service levels, acting as technical point of contact for customer and stakeholder requests.
• Implement and manage API‑based automation on the Kubernetes platform to streamline local build and run activities.
• Contribute to global strategic technical developments by leveraging both classical and agile project methodologies within the international team.
• Collaborate with the international team for strategic technical development.

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in IT system and network architectures.
• Solid technical expertise in Splunk technology and platform management.
• Practical hands‑on experience with API‑based automation and the Kubernetes platform.
• Flexible and open‑minded to change.
• University Degree in IT, Business Information Systems, or equivalent extensive practical experience.
• Negotiation level of English and fluent in French are mandatory.
• This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by recognized authorities. French nationality is mandatory for this role.
