Special Education & IEP Scenario Evaluator

Your work at IXO Create IXO scenarios that test whether special-education guidance meets a student’s needs as well as the relevant instructional and procedural requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop cases from student evaluation through IEP development and implementation.
• Write reference answers explaining the instructional reasoning and relevant evidence.
• Assess accommodations, differentiated teaching and intervention choices for the specific learner.
• Grade generated material against explicit criteria and explain consequential errors.
• Refine the scenario and rubric so another educator can apply the same standard.

Required experience and preparation

A special-education license, certification or equivalent credential, two years teaching in special-education settings, and expertise in IEPs, accommodations and differentiated instruction. Clear written English and availability for at least ten hours per week are required.

Preferred experience

Depth in autism, learning disabilities or emotional/behavioral needs; behavior intervention or crisis-prevention training; inclusion or collaborative teaching.

Deliverables and engagement

Deliverables include scenario briefs, reference responses, evaluation criteria and documented model-output reviews. Work is remote and asynchronous; IXO will agree the scope and schedule before assignments begin.

Pay is $45 $75/hr in USD. IXO will agree the scope, deliverables and schedule before work begins.
