Airbus Defence & Space – Space Systems Sales Controller and Cost Base (M/F)
Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a Space Systems Sales Controller and Cost Base professional to join our Space Systems Planning and Reporting team based in Toulouse, France or Ottobrunn, Germany.
Responsibilities
- Business Partner to the Head of Sales and Marketing for Space Systems.
- Lead the Order Intake Planning and Reporting cycles, ensuring alignment between the S&M organisation and programmes and timely availability of OI assumptions at the beginning of all planning cycles.
- Perform budgetary controlling for the Sales & Marketing function, including cost‑centre cost controlling and budgeting in France and reporting in all countries as the finance focal point for the S&M function.
- Perform bid cost controlling for projects.
- Implement and drive a process that allows reporting of the cost base for the overall Space Systems perimeter, including target setting, budget cost base and monthly actuals.
- Act as the interface to Division, Cost Accounting and Controlling to explain variations and monitor actions.
- Support identification and reporting of all turnaround initiatives within the cost‑center perimeter.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a similar role or in an audit firm.
- Experience as a Business Partner Finance for operational functions.
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to work within an international team.
- Knowledge of SAP (CO module) and proficiency with financial reporting tools.
- Working language: English, written and spoken. Other languages are an advantage.
Additional requirements
The role requires a security clearance or the eligibility for one according to recognised authorities.
