Home Careers Space Project Manager M/F (Contract Manager)
As part of the Programs Department, which brings together Project Managers, you will serve as a Project Manager (Project Lead) (M/F) and be responsible for overseeing the overall management of a project (costs/margin, quality/scope, timeline, customer satisfaction, billing) for one or more satellite development projects (including customer customization, payload integration, launch into orbit, etc.), while providing a cross‑functional perspective that encompasses the technical aspects—which remain U‑Space’s core business.
At U‑Space, Project Managers also serve as Bid Managers; working in tandem with a Sales Manager, you will regularly be required to manage one or more bids in parallel with the project(s). - Coordinate activities with the various departments within the Technical and Industrial Divisions to fulfill the commitment.
- Manage project risks and implement appropriate measures.
- Organize project reviews associated with various milestones with the various stakeholders (these reviews may be internal or external; you are responsible for “satellite”-level or even “system”-level documentation packages).
- Serve as the point of contact with insurance companies, launch authorities, customs, export control agencies, and relevant government ministries—for example, regarding the LOS (Space Operations Act).
- Oversee one or more bids (depending on size and complexity) as a project, with agreed‑upon cost, quality, and timeline objectives for the bid or no‑bid decision.
