Solutions Architect Greenfield (New Logo) Start Ups France

Overview

The role is based in the Paris region and supports a hybrid schedule. You will use your technical expertise to showcase how Databricks’ Data & Intelligence Platform helps customers solve complex data challenges. Working with a collaborative, customer‑focused team, you will create customized solutions that drive customer success and help shape the future of data‑driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Build successful relationships with Greenfield (new logo) clients in the start‑up market in France, providing technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Operate as an expert in big‑data analytics to excite customers about Databricks.
• Develop into a champion and trusted advisor on architecture, design, and implementation to support successful adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
• Scale best practices and support customers by authoring reference architectures, how‑to guides, and demo applications.
• Lead workshops, seminars, and meet‑ups to build the Databricks community in the region.
• Grow your knowledge and expertise to the level of a technical and/or industry specialist.

Qualifications

• Engage customers in technical sales, challenge their questions, guide clear outcomes, and communicate technical and value propositions.
• Develop customer relationships and build internal partnerships with account executives and teams.
• Prior experience coding in a core programming language (Python, Java, Scala) and willingness to learn Spark.
• Proficient with Big Data Analytics technologies, including hands‑on expertise with complex proofs‑of‑concept and public cloud platforms.
• Experienced in use‑case discovery, scoping, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to multiple audiences, requiring the ability to context‑switch in levels of technical depth.

Requirements

• Location: Paris region (within a commutable distance for a hybrid schedule).
• Flexibility to travel up to 30% as required for customer meetings, events, and trainings.
• Business proficiency in both French and English required.
