Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a Solutions Architect to design and develop Service Oriented Architecture tiers , supporting enterprise-level integration and orchestration of web services. You will work closely with technical and functional teams to deliver robust, scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the SOA tier and participate in architecture/design sessions
• Build business processes supporting web services orchestration
• Review design artifacts and code; recommend alternative solutions
• Draft use cases and participate in system development/enhancements
• Collaborate with technical teams for effective system delivery
• Apply established development methodologies and release management processes

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong knowledge of SOA design patterns , ESB , BPEL , and middleware technologies
• Experience with Linux, UNIX, or AIX environments
• Skilled in Webservices (SOAP, WSDL, XML, XSL), SQL/JDBC, UML , and object-oriented design
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture standards
• Open Group or equivalent Certified Architect preferred
• Understanding of network and system architecture , security, logging, auditing, and policy management
• Minimum 9 years IT experience , including 3+ years in SOA Platform Architecture & Development

Education

• Minimum 4 years post-secondary education (Master’s degree or equivalent)
