Solution Engineer / System Analyst – R&D

Location: France

We are hiring a Solution Engineer / System Analyst to join the System Analysis team of a global industrial group, working within its R&D organisation.

About the role

You will combine solution engineering and business analysis across the full delivery lifecycle: from gathering and analysing requirements, through solution definition, configuration, integration and testing, to deployment and support. You will work hands‑on with IT solutions and act as the link between business and technical teams, making sure every requirement is traceable and correctly implemented.

What you will do

• Gather, analyse and document business and system requirements
• Maintain requirement traceability from definition through to delivery
• Define solutions and write technical-functional specifications
• Configure, integrate and test systems hands‑on
• Support deployment and provide post‑deployment support
• Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile setup

What we are looking for

• Experience as a Solution Engineer, System Analyst or Business Analyst
• Experience working in an R&D environment
• Hands‑on system configuration, integration and testing
• Strong requirements analysis, documentation and specification skills
• Data analysis skills or data‑domain knowledge
• Knowledge of Agile methods
• Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving skills
• Professional English

You must already have the right to work in France: EU/EEA citizenship or a valid French work permit.
