Solar Construction Project Manager in , us

We are seeking a Solar Construction Project Manager for a 2‑month contract (W‑2) located in Avon, NY 14414. Per diem is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Management with overseeing ground‑mounted system installation and coordinating with contractors to ensure adherence to local Avon, NY solar regulations.
• Grid Interconnection: manage technical aspects of connecting high‑capacity solar systems with the Solar Farm.
• Handle project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and team member communication from development through commissioning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with technical installation on commercial solar systems.
• Strong ability to read and understand solar energy system drawings and schematics.

Helpful Qualifications

• Two or four‑year technical degree.
• Experience with Helioscope or similar solar design software.
• Background managing commercial solar projects from 50 kW to 1.5 MW scale.
• Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ permitting.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $40.00‑$45.00 per hour.
