Software Engineering Delivery Director – Life Sciences and Healthcare sector
EPAM is seeking an experienced Delivery Director to drive Life Sciences delivery and growth across France.
In this role, you will own end-to-end technical delivery, lead teams, and advise CXOs while expanding existing key accounts.
You will lead complex data-driven transformation programs, provide hands-on guidance in Gen
AI applications, process development and value realization. You will coordinate multiple activity streams and clients, ensuring seamless delivery across all aspects, including finance, sourcing, implementation and business outcomes.
The role requires a blend of delivery excellence, pre-sales acumen and technical depth – overseeing large-scale AI initiatives from conception to implementation.
Responsibilities
Lead and scale multi-disciplinary teams delivering data and cloud transformation programs (Gx
P-aware)
Partner with clients to define AI business cases, roadmaps and architecture, as well as work closely with multi-disciplinary teams of AI/ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Software Engineers, UX designers and product owners
Own account delivery excellence, KPIs, quality, risk and compliance
Act as billable CXO advisor on data, cloud, R&D, manufacturing and digital transformations
Contribute to shaping proposals, work with Account Management and Sales Teams on resales/renewals, cross-sell and upsell, continuously identifying new opportunities for emerging Gen
AI capabilities and their integration within enterprise ecosystems
Build and leverage a strong French Life Sciences network to open doors and grow pipelines
Align with global EPAM capabilities, partners (e.g., Hyperscalers) and delivery centers
Requirements
Strong track record in Life Sciences and/or regulated industry technology services
Established network with French pharma and key partners
Solid experience in AI (Gen
AI), Digital Twin, from proof of concept to production
Strong grounding in modern software delivery (Agile, Dev
Ops, microservices, API-driven integration)
Excellent communication in French and English with credibility at the C-suite level
Proven success delivering cloud/data programs (AWS/Azure/GCP, data platforms, AI/ML) in regulated contexts
Demonstrated team leadership and talent development across onshore/nearshore/offshore
Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
