• Design and implement robust backend services tailored to trading and financial systems
• Own features end‑to‑end, including database schema design, API development, testing, and frontend integration
• Build and maintain real‑time infrastructure and high‑performance client‑facing APIs
• Develop and execute integration tests using real dependencies to ensure system reliability
• Collaborate across teams to deliver scalable, production‑ready features

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of production experience in backend engineering
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or another strongly typed programming language
• Experience working with trading systems, financial infrastructure, or exchange‑related environments
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and transaction processing
• Familiarity with modern backend frameworks (e.g., NestJS, Spring, FastAPI)
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with production‑grade ORMs (ideally TypeORM)
• Knowledge of precise decimal arithmetic in financial contexts
• Strong testing mindset, particularly integration‑first approaches
• Ability to independently deliver frontend components using React or Next.js
